FAITH IN THE VALLEY IS A UNIFIED, MULTI-FAITH AND MULTI-RACIAL, ORGANIZING ENGINE. IN 2017,FIVE ORGANIZATIONS MERGED INTO ONE LARGER, MORE POWERFUL, MORE SUSTAINABLE ORGANIZATION. TODAY, FAITH IN THE VALLEY REPRESENTS OVER 100,000 FAMILIES IN KERN, FRESNO, MERCED, STANISLAUS AND SAN JOAQUIN COUNTIES. WE GIVE VOICE TO THOSE WHO HAVEN'T BEEN HEARD,BUILD POWER WITH THOSE WHO FEEL POWERLESS AND ORGANIZE OUR COMMUNITY TO ADVANCE RACIAL, ECONOMIC AND ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE.

WE IDENTIFIED INDIVIDUALS AT RISK FOR PERPETUATING VIOLENCE AND/OR HAVE BEEN VICTIMS OF VIOLENCE THEMSELVES AND ARE AT RISK FOR FOR BECOMING VICTIMS OF VIOLENCE. WE CREATE SPACE FOR HEALING AND ACCOUNTABILITY WITH MENTORING, WEEKLY CALL INS AND HEALING CIRCLES. THE GOAL OF THE PROGRAM IS TO EQUIP THEM WITH TOOLS TO IDENTIFY AND NAVIGATE HEALTHY AND VIABLE PATHWAYS FORWARD IN LIFE.
