THE CB WELLNESS FOUNDATION CONTINUED ITS FOCUS TO ADVANCE WOMEN'S AND CHILDREN'S HEALTH. THIS YEARS FOCUS WAS ON UNDERWRITING EXPENSES FOR THE PROJECT LYME WHICH IS WORKING TO DEVELOP A CURE FOR LYME DISEASE AND LIVLYME FOUNDATION WHICH GIVES GRANTS TO CHILDREN SUFFERING FROM LYME AND TO PAY FOR THEIR MEDICINE. LYME DISEASE EFFECTS WOMEN AND CHILDREN MORE SEVERELY THAN ADULT MEN. IT ALSO CONTRIBUTED TO THE HORSE PARK AT WOODSIDE TO DEFRAY THE COST OF ARENA FOOTING WHICH ENSURES SAFETY FOR CHILDREN. THE FOUNDATION ALSO RAN A PROGRAM TO PROVIDE IPADS FOR COVID-19 PATIENT COMMNUNICATIONS WITH THEIR FAMILIES WHILE THEY WERE IN THE HOSPITAL. THE TARGETS WERE THE BADLY AFFECTED HOSPITALS IN THE NEW YORK CITY AREA AND PARTICULARLY HOSPITALS IN LOWER INCOME AREAS.
