THE ORGANIZATION IS DEDICATED TO ELIMINATING SUBSTANDARD HOUSING THROUGH CONSTRUCTING, REHABILITATING, AND PRESERVING HOMES WITH ITS HOUSING INITIATIVES.THE HOMEOWNERSHIP PROGRAM ASSISTS LOW INCOME FIRST-TIME HOMEBUYERS TO ACHIEVE AFFORDABLE HOMEOWNERSHIP, AND HABITAT HOMES ARE SOLD TO PARTNER HOMEBUYERS WITH AN AFFORDABLE MORTGAGE. HOME REPAIRS ARE OFFERED TO HELP LOW-INCOME HOMEOWNERS REMAIN SAFELY IN THEIR HOMES AS WELL AS NEIGHBORHOOD PROJECTS RANGING FROM SUPPORTING COMMUNITY NONPROFITS WITH CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS TO BEAUTIFYING PUBLIC SPACES AND PARKS. THROUGH THE CRITICAL HOME REPAIR AND A BRUSH WITH KINDNESS PROGRAMS, HABITAT SANTA BARBARA PARTNERS WITH LOW-INCOME HOMEOWNERS TO MAINTAIN A SAFE AND DECENT PLACE TO LIVE.


INTERNATIONAL HOUSING DEVELOPMENT: HABITAT SANTA BARBARA INVESTED IN AN INTERNATIONAL PARTNERSHIP BY SUPPORTING HOUSING AND EDUCATIONAL DEVELOPMENT IN THE COUNTRIES OF UGANDA AND NEPAL.
