NON-CASH CONTRIBUTION TO KERN COUNTY CANCER FOUNDATION (KCCF)IN THE AMOUNT OF$1,264,112. EFFECTIVE 1/1/2021 KCCF DID A SPIN OFF FORMING A SEPERATE EXEMPTORGANIZATION UNDER INTERNAL REVENUE CODE (IRC) SECTION 501(C)(3) - EIN NUMBER: 85-3730553
THE CBCC FOUNDATION TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM ASSISTS QUALIFYING ADULT PATIENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES BY TRANSPORTING THEM FREE OF CHARGE TO TREATMENT. THE FOUNDATION COLLABORATES WITH SOCIAL WORKERS AT ALL HOSPITALS TO IDENTIFY ADULT PATIENTS THAT CAN BENEFIT FROM THE SERVICE. TRANSPORTATION TO BAKERSFIELD IS ALSO PROVIDED TO ELIGIBLE ADULT PATIENTS LIVING IN OUTLYING AREAS FOR TREATMENT.THE CBCC FOUNDATION EDUCATION CLASSES ARE CONDUCTED TO PROVIDE PATIENTS AND SURVIVORS AN OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN MORE ABOUT THEIR DISEASE AND SHARE KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCES WITH EACH OTHER.
