THE CENTRAL COAST AQUARIUM'S MISSION IS TO CULTIVATE A COMMUNITY THAT IS DEDICATED TO OCEAN STEWARDSHIP THROUGH EDUCATION, ENGAGEMENT AND ACTION.

Part 3 - Line 4a

THE CENTRAL COAST AQUARIUM PROVIDES HANDS ON EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS FOR CHILDREN PRE-K THROUGH 12TH GRADE. THE ORGANIZATION SERVES STUDENTS FROM SAN LUIS OBISPO, FRESNO, TULARE, KINGS, MONTEREY AND SANTA BARBARA COUNTIES. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES THREE MAIN PROGRAMS INCLUDING A PUBLIC AQUARIUM, DISCOVERY LABS AND OFF SHORE FLOATING LABS. ALL PROGRAMS INCLUDING OFF SITE OUTREACH PROGRAMS SERVE THE COMMUNITY AND VISITORS BY PROVIDING MARINE LIFE EDUCATION PROGRAMS TO IMMERSE AND INSPIRE THE NEXT GENERATION OF OCEAN STEWARDS.
