HOME PRESERVATION PROGRAM ASSISTS EXISTING LOW-INCOME HOMEOWNERS MAINTAIN THEIR HOMES AND PROPERTY BY PROVIDING PAINTING, LANDSCAPING, AND MINOR REPAIR SERVICES FOR HOMEOWNERS IN NEED.
NEIGHBORHOOD REVITALIZATION -HABITAT'S VISION IS TO EMPOWER RESIDENTS BY ENHANCING NEIGHBORHOODS SO THEY BECOME VIBRANT, SAFE, AND INVITING PLACES TO LIVE FOR CURRENT AND FUTURE RESIDENTS. REVITALIZATION HAPPENS THROUGH THE DEDICATION OF ENGAGED CITIZENS, PARTNERSHIPS WITH CIVIC AND BUSINESS GROUPS AND A RENEWED COMMUNITY SPIRIT.
HABITAT'S HOME REHABILITATION PROJECT PROVIDES LOW-INCOME HOMEOWNERS WITH THE OPPORTUNITY TO HAVE MAJOR REPAIRS DONE TO THEIR HOMES. HOMEOWNERS WISHING TO APPLY TO THE PROGRAM MUST HAVE INCOMES BETWEEN 30% AND 80% OF THE COUNTY MEDIA INCOME, AND ARE SELECTED BASED ON THE NEED FOR THE REPAIRS, THE ABILITY TO PAY AN AFFORDABLE HABITAT DEED RESTRICTED LOAN(0% INTEREST), AND A WILLINGNESS TO COMPLETE THE REQUIRED HOURS OF SWEAT EQUITY LABOR TOWARD REHABILITATION OF THEIR HOMES.
PROVIDED A CONTRIBUTION TO HABITAT FOR HUMANITY INTERNATIONAL (HFHI) TO CREATE A SUSTAINABLE REVENUE STREAM TO HELP FINANCE A PORTION OF OPERATIONAL COSTS INCURRED BY HFHI TO SUPPORT THE WORK OF HABITAT AFFILIATES.
