THE ROTARY CLUB OF OJAI WEST CONTRIBUTES TO THE ROTARY FOUNDATION AND TO OUR OWN INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS. THE NUMBER ONE ROTARY INTERNATIONAL GOAL IS TO ERADICATE POLIO FROM THE FACE OF THE EARTH. PROJECTS OF THE ROTARY CLUB OF OJAI WEST FOUNDATION INCLUDE THE FLOATING CLASSROOM, PROVIDING SCIENCE AND CONSERVATION CLASSES TO LOCAL STUDENTS VIA DAY LONG FIELD TRIPS, THE DICTIONARY PROJECT IN WHICH WE PROVIDE DICTIONARIES TO ALL 4TH GRADE PUBLIC SCHOOL STUDENTS, AND SUPPORT FOR NUMEROUS NON-PROFITS IN THE OJAI VALELY. THE CLUB ALSO SPONSORS THE COMMUNITY SUMMER CONCERTS IN OUR LOCAL PARK. WE GRANT 12 HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS AT THE END OF EACH YEAR. WE PAY FOR PARK MAINTENANCE AT ROTARY PARK AND FUND VARIOUS OTHER CHARITABLE INITIATIVES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITY. THE CLUB OPERATES THE ROTARY CLUB OF OJAI WEST FOUNDATION
