WE UNCHAIN ELEPHANTS IN ASIA, TEACH HUMANE METHODS OF TRAINING AND HANDLING ELEPHANTS, AND PROVIDE A NATURAL HABITAT REFUGE FOR RETIRED ELEPHANTS IN THE U.S.

MONICA ROS SCHOOL IS COMMITTED TO EDUCATING YOUNG CHILDREN AGES 18 MONTHS TO 9 YEARS OF AGE, PROVIDING AN ENVIRONMENT OF SAFETY AND FREEDOM OF SELF EXPRESSION TO OUR STUDENTS. WE MAINTAIN A 9 MONTH TRADITIONAL SCHOOL YEAR, AND ALSO OFFER ENROLLMENT CLASSES AFTER SCHOOL AND OVER THE SUMMER MONTHS.

MISSION:

HELP OF OJAI'S (THE ORGANIZATION) MISSION IS TO COMBINE COMMUNITY AND INDIVIDUAL RESOURCES TO RESPOND TO THE IDENTIFIED, UNMET BASIC HUMAN NEEDS OF THE OJAI VALLEY RESIDENTS. THE ORGANIZATION IS DEDICATED TO ASSISTING OJAI VALLEY CITIZENS THROUGH VARIOUS PROGRAMS, INCLUDING HOME DELIVERED MEALS, HOT NOON CONGREGATE MEAL, VARIOUS SUPPORTIVE SERVICES AND LOCAL TRAVEL. IN ADDITION, THE ORGANIZATION RUNS THE LOCAL HOMELESS SERVICE CENTER AND LOW-INCOME ASSISTANCE PROGRAM. HELP OF OJAI'S PRIMARY GOAL IS TO MEET BASIC NEEDS WITH 70% OF ITS EFFORTS BEING TARGETED AT PROVIDING FOOD, SHELTER AND ACCESS TO MEDICAL CARE. ON THE OTHER HAND, 16%, 11% AND 3% OF HELP OF OJAI'S EFFORTS ARE TARGETED AT PROVIDING CASE MANAGEMENT, SUPPORT SERVICES AND ACTIVITIES-BASED PROGRAMS, RESPECTIVELY.

The goal of this organization is to provide services relating to religion where a more specific code cannot be accurately assigned. Examples may include Unitarianism, Taoism, Sikhs, Zoroastrism, Atheism, Actualism, Theosophy, Bahaism and reference to miracles.

HAILED AS A CREATIVE MUSIC LABORATORY, THE OJAI MUSIC FESTIVAL HAS NURTURED MANY OF THE MOST IMPORTANT ARTISTS AND COMPOSERS TO INTERNATIONAL PROMINENCE FOR OVER 70 YEARS.
