BRIDGE TO HOME SCV'S PRIMARY EXEMPT FUNCTION IS TO RUN AND OPERATE A FULLY-FUNCTIONAL HOMELESS SHELTER THAT PROVIDES FOOD, CLOTHING, SHELTER AND COUNSELING TO THE "HOMELESS" IN ORDER TO HELP THEM BECOME INDEPENDENT AND FUNCTIONAL CITIZENS OF THE COMMUNITY.

BRIDGE TO HOME SCV PROVIDED FOOD, CLOTHING, SHELTER AND COUNSELING FOR HOMELESS INDIVIDUALS IN THE COMMUNITY. IT OPERATES A SHELTER IN SANTA CLARITA, WHICH RECEIVES GRANTS FROM LAHSA AND OTHER STATE AND LOCAL GOVERNMENTAL AGENCIES ON A REIMBURSEMENT BASIS. THE ORGANIZATION IS OPERATED BY TWENTY-TWO BOARD MEMBERS AND NUMEROUS VOLUNTEERS IN THE COMMUNITY. THE SHELTER IS OPEN ALL YEAR AROUND.
