GLOBEMED AIMS TO ADVANCE GLOBAL HEALTH EQUITY BY MOBILIZING A COMMUNITY OF STUDENTS AND GRASSROOTS LEADERS TO WORK TOGETHER TO IMPROVE THE HEALTH OF PEOPLE AROUND THE WORLD. GLOBEMED ACCOMPLISHES THIS MISSION BY 1. MATCHING GROUNDBREAKING GRASSROOTS ORGANIZATIONS WITH UNIVERSITY-BASED STUDENT CHAPTERS TO ENHANCE STUDENTS LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT THROUGH EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING WITHIN LONG-TERM, ONE-TO-ONE PARTNERSHIPS; 2. PROVIDING ONGOING PARTNERSHIP SUPPORT AND FACILITATION SO THAT STUDENTS AND GRASSROOTS LEADERS CAN WORK TOGETHER MEANINGFULLY AND COLLECTIVELY ADVANCE COMMUNITY-DRIVEN HEALTH PROJECTS; 3.
