PROVIDE AFFORDABLE AND FREE HEALTH AND EXERCISE CLASSES, ATHLETIC PROGRAMS AND FACILITY AMENITIES FOR YOUTH, SENIORS, AND MEMBERS.
PROVIDE CHILDREN'S SUMMER/SPORTS CAMP PROGRAMS INCLUDING PROVIDING SUMMER CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS.
TO PROVIDE FACILITIES AND ASSISTANCE IN SPONSORING COMMUNITY FUND RAISERS AND COMMUNITY RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES. PRIMARILY DONATING AUCTION ITEMS AND ALLOWING FREE USE OF THE FACILITIES. PROVIDE THE FACILITIES AT NO CHARGE TO SPECIAL OLYMPICS YEAR ROUND. THEY USE THE INDOOR TENNIS COURTS, THE BASKETBALL COURT, AND SWIMMING. WE ALSO OFFER THE FACILITY FREE TO ALL WHEELCHAIR TENNIS PLAYERS. WE HOST THE DOWN SYNDROME INDOOR TENNIS TOURNAMENT FREE OF CHARGE TO ALL PARTICIPANTS. PROVIDE FACILITIES FOR THE WAHOO SWIM CLUB, A PARENT RUN CLUB DEVOTED TO TEACHING CHILDREN TO DEVELOP SWIMMING AND LIFE SKILLS THOUGH A COMPETITIVE SUMMER SWIM PROGRAM. WAHOO SWIM CLUB IS AN AFFILIATED MEMBER OF THE SOUTHWEST HOUSTON RECREATIONAL SWIM LEAGUE. IN ADDITION, CHANCELLORS SENIOR CENTER PROVIDES FREE SENIOR PROGRAMS TO SENIORS IN THE GREATERE HOUSTON AREA AS FOLLOWS: WEEKDAY LUNCHES FITNESS AND RECREATIONAL CLASSES FITNESS TESTING COMPUTER CLASSES EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS INTERGENERATIONAL PROGRAMS SOCIAL ACTIVITIES COMMUNITY LIBRARY VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
