THE SOCIETY BRINGS TOGETHER AN INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY OF SCIENTISTS FROM A VARIETY OF RESEARCH RELATED BACKGROUNDS IN THE FIELD OF HUMAN MILK AND LACTATION. THE GOAL OF ISRHML IS TO PROMOTE EXCELLENCE IN RESEARCH ON ALL ASPECTS OF HUMAN LACTATION INCLUDING THE COMPOSITION OF HUMAN MILK AND THE EFFECTS OF HUMAN MILK/BREASTFEEDING UPON THE INFANT OR MOTHER DURING THE CURRENT YEAR. ISRHML OFFERED A SERIES OF REGIONAL WEBINARS IN THE 2021-2022 YEAR. IN 2021, ISRHML HOSTED A VIRTUAL CONFERENCE FROM 17-20 AUGUST IN LIEU OF THEIR REGULARLY SCHEDULED IN-PERSON BIENNIAL CONFERENCE. THE NEXT IN-PERSON CONFERENCE IS PLANNED FOR 24-28 OCTOBER 2022, PANAMA CITY, PANAMA.
