WEST GALVESTON INTERFAITH MINISTRIES IS A FAITH BASED ORGANIZATION EST OCTOBER 25, 1990 TO ORGANIZE & COORDINATE CHURCHES IN THE WEST GALVESTON COUNTY AREA TO RESPOND TO INDIVIDUAL, FAMILY, AND PROJECT NEEDS TO PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR THE COMMUNITY.

RESALE SHOP IS OPERATED TO PROVIDE A LOW COST ALTERNATIVE TO INDIVIDUALS & FAMILIES WHO DO NOT HAVE THE FINANCIAL MEANS TO PURCHASE GOODS OR CLOTHING AT MARKET VALUE. INCOME REPORTED WAS THE RESULT OF THE SALES OF PERSONAL GOODS & CLOTHING CONTRIBUTED DIRECTLY TO FURTHER THE CHARITABLE PURPOSE OF THE ORGANIZATION.


FOOD PANTRY-THE ORGANIZATION OPERATRES A FOOD PANTRY WITH BASIC NECESSITIES INCLUDING FRESH MEAT AND VEGETABLES AS WELL AS CANNED MEATS/PROTEINS,CANNED VEGETABLES, BREADS, RICE, PASTA, CEREAL, SOUPS, FRUITS AND MILK. THE FOOD PANTRY ALSO PROVIDES PERSONAL HYGIENE PRODUCTS FOR BASIC NEEDS, TOILET PAPER, PAPER TOWELS, ETC. THESE ITEMS ARE AVAILABLE DAILY AND DISTRIBUTED TO FAMILIES IN NEED.


BUCKS FOR BIKES-AS PART OF THE HOLIDAY DRIVE, BIKES ARE DISTRIBUTED TO EACH CLIENT WHO HAS AGE APPROPRIATE CHILDREN AND WHO PRE-REGISTERED FOR A BIKE.
