EDUCATION- EDUCATION IS KEY FOR THE AMERICAN MARKETING ASSOCIATION HOUSTON CHAPTER (AMA HOUSTON). THEY PROVIDE NUMEROUS OPPORTUNITIES IN VARIOUS FORMATS TO BOTH MEMBERS AND NON-MEMBERS TO GAIN KNOWLEDGE FOR APPLICATION IN THEIR MARKETING AND COMMUNICATION EFFORTS. ALL OF THEIR FUNCTIONS ARE OPEN TO BOTH MEMBERS AND NON-MEMBERS. THEY ALSO WORK TO GIVE BACK TO THE COMMUNITY BY PROVIDING GRANTS TO HOUSTON AREA NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS TO ASSIST WITH THEIR MARKETING EFFORTS AS WELL AS SCHOLARSHIPS TO MARKETING UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS.
