TO LEAD THE EFFORT IN PREVENTING DOMESTIC AND SEXUAL VIOLENCE THROUGH EMPOWERMENT AND SOCIAL CHANGE BY PROVIDING COMMUNITY OUTREACH EDUCATION, CRISIS INTERVENTION, ADVOCACY, COUNSELING, LEGAL SERVICES, EMERGENCY SHELTER AND TRANSITIONAL HOUSING.

RESIDENTIAL PROGRAMS EMERGENCY SHELTER AND TRANSITIONAL HOUSING SERVICES ARE THE CORNERSTONE OF THIS AGENCY.
EDUCATION IS VITAL TO ENDING VIOLENCE IN OUR COMMUNITY. THE AGENCY'S COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAM BEGINS THE DIFFICULT CONVERSATION ABOUT FAMILY AND SEXUAL VIOLENCE AND PROVIDES TOOLS AND STRATEGIES TO START THE PROCESS OF CHANGING ATTITUDES, BELIEFS AND BEHAVIORS THAT CONTRIBUTE TO VIOLENCE.
COUNSELING AND SEXUAL ASSAULT PROGRAMS. THE SEXUAL ASSAULT PROGRAM PROVIDES 24 HOUR-A-DAY CRISIS RESPONSE, SUPPORT, AND INFORMATION AND REFERRAL TO SURVIVORS AND THEIR FAMILIES. THE COUNSELING PROGRAM UTILIZES A STRENGTHS-BASED APPROACH TO EMPOWER SURVIVORS TO FIND THE COURAGE TO RECLAIM A SENSE OF CONTROL WHILE MAINTAINING THEIR DIGNITY. SURVIVORS BENEFIT FROM COMPASSION AND SUPPORT AS THEY HEAL AND REBUILD THEIR LIVES.
