1. A PROGRAM LAUNCHED DUE TO FINDINGS AND CONCERNS RAISED BY THE CVHECS CENTRAL VALLEY DUAL ENROLLMENT FOR EQUITY AND PROSPERITY TASK FORCE. DUAL ENROLLMENT UPSKILLING TEACHERS MASTERS PROGRAM IN ENGLISH AND MATH LAUNCHED IN JANUARY. THE PROGRAM WAS DESIGNED TO INCENTIVIZE DUAL ENROLLMENT DELIVERY AT CENTRAL VALLEY HIGH SCHOOLS AND ADDRESS EQUITY CONCERNS. 2. CVHEC LAUNCHED THE EQUITY, RACE AND SOCIAL JUSTICE TASKFORCE. THE TASKFORCE SEEKS TO REBUILD AND IMPROVE HIGHER EDUCATION OUTCOMES FOR THE CENTRAL VALLEY REGION.3. CVHEC PROVIDED MINI-GRANT TO BRANDMAN UNIVERSITY. BRANDMAN UNIVERSITY WAS ABLE TO PROVIDE $150 BOOK VOUCHERS TO 50 UNDERGRADUATE, FIRST-GENERATION STUDENTS DUE TO THIS MINI-GRANT.4. CVHEC PROVIDED MINI-GRANT TO MODESTO JUNIOR COLLEGE. THE MINI-GRANT WAS USED TO FUND ITS FACULTY MENTOR PROGRAM TO ADDRESS THE KEY ELEMENTS OF PERSISTENCE, TIME TO DEGREE AND DECREASING THE EQUITY GAP.5. CVHEC ALONG WITH THREE MEMBER INSTITUTIONS DEVELOPED THE CVHEC/UC MERCED TRANSFER PROJECT, A PILOT PROGRAM WITH THE SPECIFIC AIM TO INCREASE THE NUMBER OF SUCCESSFUL AND TIMELY TRANSFERS FROM COMMUNITY COLLEGES WITH A NEW WEB-BASED SOFTWARE APPLICATION. 6. CVHEC PROVIDED MINI-GRANT TO REEDLEY COLLEGE. THE MINI-GRANT FUNDED THE COLLEGE'S MOTIVATIONAL POSTER PROJECT THAT PRODUCED 70 POSTERS THAT WERE PRINTED IN VARIOUS LANGUAGES AND DISPLAYED ON CAMPUS AS A PART OF AN ANTI-RACISM ACTION PLAN. 7. CVHEC PROVIDED MINI-GRANT TO COLLEGE OF SEQUOIAS. THE MINI-GRANT FUNDED AN INNOVATIVE FOUR-WEEK INTERDISCIPLINARY COHORT-BASED LEARNING SESSION THAT STUDIED EQUITABLE PEDAGOGY AND HOW TO APPLY IT TO GATEKEEPING COURSES AT THE COLLEGE OF SEQUOIAS.8. CVHEC PROVIDED MINI-GRANT TO CALIFORNIA HEALTH SCIENCES UNIVERSITY. THE MINI-GRANT PROVIDED FUNDING FOR A PRE-MED PATHWAY BOOTCAMP THAT HELPED 25 LOCAL STUDENTS PREPARE TO APPLY TO CALIFORNIA HEALTH SCIENCES UNIVERSITY COLLEGE OF OSTEOPATHIC MEDICINE.
