BUILDING SUPPORTIVE POLICY ENVIRONMENTLOCAL ADVOCACY AND BASE BUILDING: PROMOTES AUTONOMY FOR CALIFORNIA CHARTER SCHOOLS AND ADDRESSES CHALLENGES SUCH AS AUTHORIZER OVER-REGULATION AND FACILITIES THROUGH GRASSROOTS AND GRASSTOPS ADVOCACY. GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS: IMPROVES THE POLICY ENVIRONMENT FOR CHARTER SCHOOLS IN CALIFORNIA THROUGH LEGISLATION AND REGULATORY ADVOCACY. CHARTER SCHOOLS LEGAL DEFENSE FUND: LITIGATES KEY ISSUES WHICH SUBSTANTIALLY IMPACT CALIFORNIA'S CHARTER SCHOOL MOVEMENT AND PROVIDES SUPPORT TO CHARTER SCHOOLS SEEKING FACILITIES UNDER PROPOSITION 39 OR FACING UNFAIR TREATMENT.

VENDOR MEMBERS RECEIVE ACCESS TO PROMOTION OPPORTUNITIES. SCHOOL PERFORMANCE, ACCOUNTABILITY, AND RESEARCH: CONDUCTS SOPHISTICATED DATA ANALYSIS AND RESEARCH TO ADVANCE UNDERSTANDING OF CHARTER SCHOOLS AND TO ENSURE APPROPRIATE ACCOUNTABILITY WITHIN THE CHARTER MOVEMENT.
