OCEAN BLUE PROJECT IS A GRASSROOTS ENVIRONMENTAL CHARITABLE ORGANIZATION WITH A MISSION TO PROTECT THE HEALTH OF HUMANS, OUR ONE WORLD OCEAN, BEACHES, AND RIVERS THROUGH COLLABORATIVE COMMUNITY DRIVEN PLASTIC POLLUTION RELIEF, SERVICE LEARNING PROJECTS, SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH, AND YOUTH EDUCATION

IN JANUARY 2023, OCEAN BLUE REACHED THE OVERARCHING GOAL TO REMOVE 1 MILLION POUNDS OF PLASTIC AND DEBRIS FROM U.S. BEACHES AND OCEAN BOUND WATERWAYS. TO DATE, OCEAN BLUE VOLUNTEERS AND STAFF HAVE COLLECTIVELY CLEANED UP OVER 1.2 MILLION POUNDS OF PLASTIC AND DEBRIS. NEAR THE TURN OF THE YEAR, OCEAN BLUE OVER-DELIVERED TO PARTNERS THE PLEDGE TO REMOVE 1 POUND OF PLASTIC AND DEBRIS AND THANKS TO A PRIVATE AWARD OF $95,000 THE IMPACT GREW FROM 1 POUND TO 5 POUNDS REMOVED FOR EVERY $1 DONATED TO THE PLASTIC DISASTER RELIEF PROGRAM.
