OPERATION OF LOCAL MOVIE THEATRE. THE PRIOR OWNER CLOSED THE THEATRE AND IT WAS CLOSED FOR ABOUT TWO YEARS AND WAS FOR SALE. THERE WERE NO BUYERES INTERESTED IN IT. BEING A SMALL RURAL COMMUNITY WITH NO OTHER THEATRE IN THE COUNTY, A GROUP OF PARENTS ORGANIZED AND PURCHASED THE THEATRE AS A COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT TO PROVIDE A SAFE AND CONTROLLED PLACE FOR THE YOUTH ON THE WEEKENDS (FRIDAY, SATURDAY, SUNDAY AND MONDAY).
