THE ORGANIZATION IS A COLLABORATION OF AGENCIES WORKING TO REVOLUTIONIZE THE MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES DELIVERY SYSTEM IN TARRANT COUNTY, TX BY DEVELOPING LONG-TERM PLANS AND PROVIDING SOLUTIONS.

THE ORGANIZATIONS PROGRAMS INCLUDE: THE OVERSIGHT AND GOVERNANCE STRUCTURE FOR TARRANT CARES (NETWORK OF CARE) WHICH PROVIDES A WEB-BASED DATABASE OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES RESOURCES; IMPLEMENTING A MULTI-FACETED APPROACH TO CREATING A TRAUMA-INFORMED/RESILIENT TARRANT COUNTY, INCLUDING A COMMUNITY-WIDE SOCIAL MARKETING CAMPAIGN; TRAINING AND IMPLEMENTING TRUST-BASED RELATIONAL INTERVENTION (TBRI), AN EVIDENCE-BASED PRACTICE FOR THE TREATMENT OF TRAUMA AMONG MORE THAN 30 AGENCIES AND 2,000 PRACTITIONERS IN TARRANT COUNTY; PROVIDING TRAINING TO IMPROVE CULTURAL AND LINGUISTIC COMPETENCY IN THE COMMUNITY.
