CEC EMPOWERS PEOPLE BY OFFERING A MODEL OF INTEGRATED SERVICES (BUNDLED SERVICES) TO HELP INDIVIDUALS IMPROVE THEIR FINANCIAL STABILITY

THE COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAM GAVE DIRECT AID AND DISTRIBUTED FOOD TO 29,653 FAMILIES THROUGH THE FOOD PANTRY WHICH EQUATED TO 2,146,518 POUNDS OF FOOD. THANKS TO HUNDREDS OF INDIVIDUALS DONATING TO FOOD DRIVES, COMPANIES WHO CARE, AND FOOD-SHARE PARTNERS.


IN 2023 THE HOUSING PROGRAM FOR HOMELESS, FAMILY VIOLENCE, AND LOW INCOME HOUSED 30 FAMILIES AND 466 INDIVIDUALS. FAMILIES IN THE PROGRAM FOUND REFUGE AND HOPE THROUGH THE PROGRAM. 29,653 FAMILIES AND 161 INDIVIDUALS RECEIVED BUNDLED SERVICES OF FOOD FROM THE PANTRY, EMPLOYMENT, AND FINANCIAL COACHING. THE CEC COLLABORATED WITH BIRDVILLE ISD, NORTHEAST TARRANT CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, AND MORE THAN 30 CHURCHES TO FOCUS ON BACK-TO-SCHOOL, HOMELESS STUDENTS, AND LITERACY FOR ELEMENTARY CHILDREN, SUPPLYING 2,000 SCHOOL SUPPLY KITS, 700 BIBLES, AND 42,483 POUNDS OF FOOD AT THE REFRESH EVENT. 302 FAMILIES WITH OVER 822 CHILDREN ATTENDED A SPONSORED EVENT AIMING TO TIE COMMUNITY DONORS DIRECTLY TO FAMILIES FOR CHRISTMAS. EVERY CHILD RECEIVED APPROXIMATELY $50-$75 WORTH OF TOYS AND FAMILIES RECEIVED AROUND 13,590 LBS OF FOOD IN TOTAL.DURING THE YEAR, 2,776 VOLUNTEERS DONATED 28,830 HOURS OF SERVICE TO THEIR COMMUNITY THROUGH THE CEC PROGRAM.


THE EMPLOYMENT/EDUCATION COACHES PROVIDED COACHING SERVICES TO 161PARTICIPANTS THROUGH BUNDLED SERVICES WHICH INCLUDED FINANCIALSUPPORT AND EDUCATION COACHING, EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE AND RESOURCEREFERRALS TO HELP FAMILIES BECOME MORE SELF-SUFFICIENT.
