THE ACADEMIC LANGUAGE THERAPY ASSOCIATION IS ORGANIZED EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE PURPOSE OF ESTABLISHING, MAINTAINING, AND PROMOTING STANDARDS OF EDUCATION, PRACTICE, AND PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT FOR CERTIFIED ACADEMIC LANGUAGE THERAPISTS WHO ARE TRAINED TO TEACH STUDENTS WITH DYSLEXIA AND/OR RELATED DISORDERS. THE ASSOCIATION OFFERS A VARIETY OF IMPORTANT SERVICES BOTH FOR ITS MEMBERS AND FOR THE COMMUNITY: MEMBERSHIP SERVICES - NATIONAL REGISTRY, PERIODIC NEWSLETTERS, WEBSITE, PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION, CEU VIDEOS, JOB LISTINGS. COMMUNITY SERVICES - INFORMATION, BOOK LISTINGS FOR PROFESSIONALS, PARENTS AND CHILDREN, JOB LISTINGS.
