IN ADDITION, THE ORGANIZED ALSO RETAINED A CONSULTANT TO TRACT PENDING LEGISLATION, RESEARCH ISSUES DEEMED IMPORTANT TO THE PROFESSION, AND TO MEET WITH PEOPLE TO DISCUSS ISSUES IMPACTING THE PROFESSION. ALSO, THE ORGANIZATION RETAINED A LOBBYIST TO WORK ON BEHALF OF THE ASSOCIATION AND ITS MEMBERS.
