TEXAS MANUFACTURED HOUSING ASSOCIATION, INC. ("TMHA") IS THE STATE TRADE ASSOCIATION REPRESENTING THE GENERAL WELFARE AND INTEREST OF THE ENTIRE TEXAS MANUFACTURED HOUSING INDUSTRY. TMHA SERVES ITS MEMBERS BY PROVIDING INDUSTRY INFORMATION, LEGISLATIVE REPRESENTATION, EDUCATION AND NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES.

THMA PURSUES EQUITABLE INDUSTRY RECOGNITION IN THE ACTIVITIES OF THE LEGISLATIVE AND EXECUTIVE BRANCHES OF THE TEXAS GOVERNMENT BY ANALYSIS OF STATE LEGISLATION CONTAINING PROVISIONS AFFECTING THE MANUFACTURED HOUSING INDUSTRY. IN ADDITION, TMHA INITIATED STATE LEGISLATION AND/OR ADMINISTRATIVE ACTION TO ADVANCE INDUSTRY INTERESTS AND INTERACTED WITH APPROPRIATE GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS AND RELATED ORGANIZATIONS TO ENHANCE INDUSTRY RECOGNITION AND THE ENSURE THE PROPER CONSIDERATION OF INDUSTRY NEEDS.


PROVIDED INDUSTRY INFORMATION AND STATISTICS TO GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS, THE MEDIA, TMHA MEMBERS AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC, ENABLING TMHA TO BE A RECOGNIZED SOURCE OF INFORMATION REGARDING THE MANUFACTURED HOUSING INDUSTRY IN TEXAS.


TMHA OFFERED TECHNICAL EXPERTISE TO THE MEMBERSHIP, GENERAL PUBLIC, APPROPRIATE GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS AND RELATED ORGANIZATIONS. TMHA SOUGHT TO OBTAIN REASONABLE STATE CODES AND STANDARDS FOR THE MANUFACTURED HOUSING INDUSTRY. IN ADDITION, TMHA OFFERED PROGRAMS TO ENHANCE THE RECOGNITION AND IMAGE OF THE MANUFACTURED HOUSING INDUSTRY AND OFFERED PROGRAMS AND DISTRIBUTED COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT INFORMATION TO PROMOTE THE SUCCESSFUL OPERATION OF MANUFACTURED HOME COMMUNITIES.
