THE YMCAS PHYSICAL EDUCATION PROGRAM FOR ADULTS AND YOUTH SERVED 4078 MEMBERS AND 8957 GUESTS DURING 2021 THROUGH ORGANIZED AND FREELANCE PROGRAMS CONSISTING OF ADULT FITNESS, ORGANIZED AND FREE SWIMMING, YOUTH GYMNASTIC CLASSES AND TEAM COMPETITIONS. PHYSICAL EDUCATION IS PARAMOUNT IN PRESERVING HEALTH AND BUILDING BODY, MIND AND SPIRIT IN ADULTS AND YOUTH ALIKE.
WITH PARTICIPATION IN ORGANIZED SPORTS PROGRAMS, HOWARD COUNTY ADULTS AND YOUTH FURTHER DEVELOP PHYSICAL SKILLS AND ACQUIRE PROFESSIONAL GUIDANCE FOR DEVELOPMENT OF MIND AND SPIRIT THROUGH INDIVIDUAL AND TEAM COMPETITIONS IN BASKETBALL, SOCCER, AND VOLLEYBALL. 586 HOWARD COUNTY RESIDENTS PARTICIPATED IN THE YMCAS SPORT PROGRAMS DURING 2021.

THE PROGRAM CONSISTS OF ALL DAY AND AFTER SCHOOL SUPERVISION FOR CHILDREN OF WORKING AND STUDENT PARENTS.
