THE BEST OF PLANO EVENT IS THE PLANO CHAMBER OF COMMERCE'S ANNUAL TOP BUSINESS AWARD CELEBRATION. THE EVENT HONORS THE CITY'S TOP LEADERS FOR THEIR SERVICE AND DEDICATION TO THEIR BUSINESS AND COMMUNITY. WINNERS OF THE ATHENA AWARD, SMALL BUSINESS OF THE YEAR AWARD, OUTSTANDING CORPORATE CITIZEN, AND THE BUSINESS EXECUTIVE OF THE YEAR AWARD ARE HONORED AT THE EVENT.
THE PLANO CHAMBER OF COMMERCE SPONSORS THE LEADERSHIP PLANO PROGRAM. LEADERSHIP PLANO IS A COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM. LEADERSHIP PLANO IS DEDICATED TO EDUCATING, DEVELOPING, AND EMPOWERING CURRENT AND FUTURE LEADERS FOR THE COMMUNITY AND MOTIVATING THEM TO SERVE CIVIC, CHARITABLE, AND BUSINESS ORGANIZATIONS.
THE PLANO CHAMBER OF COMMERCE'S WOMEN'S DIVISION PROGRAM WAS CREATED TO EMPOWER WOMEN THROUGH ADVOCACY, EDUCATION, AND NETWORKING. ITS PURPOSE IS TO PROMOTE WOMEN IN BUSINESS THROUGH NETWORKING, EDUCATIONAL LUNCHEONS AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS. IN HARMONY WITH THE CHAMBER'S MISSION, THE PLANO CHAMBER OF COMMERCE STRIVES TO ACT AS ROLE MODELS, EDUCATORS, AND MENTORS TO WOMEN. THE PLANO CHAMBER OF COMMERCE PROVIDES A PLATFORM TO SUPPORT AND ENCOURAGE WOMEN IN BUSINESS AND TO PROVIDE A VOICE WITHIN THE CHAMBER FOR WOMEN'S BUSINESS ISSUES.
