OPERATION OF MATHCOUNTS COMPETITION DESIGNED TO IMPROVE THE MATH SKILLS OF MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS. TYPICALLY 300 TEXAS SCHOOLS REGISTERED INVOLVING APPROXIMATELY 2,000 STUDENTS. OTHER SERVICES INCLUDE WORKSHOPS AND NEWSLETTERS. RESUMPTION OF FULL ACTIVITIES ANTICIPATED IN SUBSEQUENT FISCAL YEAR.
