PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGY AND EDUCATION - PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR PRODUCERS IN ORDER TO PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES TO OPERATE EFFICIENTLY AND PRODUCE BETTER PRODUCT.


THROUGH A VARIETY OF PROGRAMS, OUR ORGANIZATION IS ABLE TO EDUCATE ON THE PORK INDUSTRY AS A WHOLE, RANGING FROM PRODUCTION PRACTICES IN THE AREAS OF NUTRITION, BREEDING, REPRODUCTION, MANAGEMENT, FACILITIES, ETC. TO PROMOTING A POSITIVE IMAGE THROUGH EDUCATION OF ANIMAL/HUMAN HEALTH, FOOD SAFETY AND ANIMAL CARE.


PUBLIC POLICY- BE INVOLVED IN THE DEVELOPMENT AND COMMUNICATION OF PUBLIC POLICIES THAT IMPACT THE PORK INDUSTRY IN PARTICULAR AND AGRICULTURE IN GENERAL.CONSUMER INFORMATION/PROMOTION- INCREASE CONSUMPTION OF PORK, PROVIDE FACTUAL INFORMATION TO CONSUMERS AND ENCOURAGE BETTER PORK MARKETING BY RETAILERS.
