RGALT IS A LAND TRUST ALLIANCE ACCREDITED LAND CONSERVATION ORGANIZATION. WE SERVE URBAN AND RURAL COMMUNITIES BY PROTECTING LAND AND WATER FOREVER THROUGH VOLUNTARY CONSERVATION EASEMENTS. A CONSERVATION EASEMENT ISA VOLUNTARY LEGAL AGREEMENT ON THE PART OF A LANDOWNERWHICH CONTAINS PERMANENT RESTRICTIONS ON THE USE OR DEVELOPMENT OF THE LAND TO PROTECT CERTAIN CONSERVATION VALUES ON THEIR PROPERTY.WE IMPLEMENT OUR WORK BY FOSTERING PUBLIC AND PRIVATE PARTNERSHIPS THAT RESULT IN COLLABORATIONS BETWEEN PRIVATE LANDOWNERS (INCLUDING FARMERS AND RANCHERS), GOVERNMENT AGENCIES, STATE AND FEDERAL WILDLIFE REFUGES, NATIVE AMERICAN TRIBES, NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS, BUSINESSES, AND PRIVATE INDIVIDUALS.


RGALT ENTERED INTO A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT WITH THE MRGCD TO CONDUCT VARIOUS COMBINATIONS OF TASKS THAT SUPPORT AND ADVANCE THE MISSION OF THE MRGCD AND THE CONSERVATION GOALS OF MIDDLE RIO GRANDE CONSERVATION PARTNERS. THESE TASKS INCLUDE LANDOWNER OUTREACH, CONSERVATION EASEMENT RECRUITMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION, SEEKING THIRD PARTY FUNDING FOR CONSERVATION, AND EXPANDING PARTNERSHIPS.


NRCS RACIAL EQUITY JUSTICE GRANT AGREEMENT FOR RGALT TO CONDUCT NRCS PROGRAM OUTREACH AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO UNDERSERVED AND SOCIALLY DISADVANTAGED PRODUCERS IN THE MIDDLE RIO GRANDE.
