THE VISION FOR THE OKLAHOMA BEEF COUNCIL IS TO BE A POSITVE DIFFERENCE FOR OKLAHOMA'S FARMING AND RANCHING FAMILIES AND THE GREATER BEEF COMMUNITY. THE MISSION OF THE OKLAHOMA BEEF COUNCIL IS TO STRENGTHEN BEEF DEMAND IN THE DOMESTIC AND GLOBAL MARKETPLACE.

OKLAHOMA PROGRAMS ARE DESIGNED TO ENCHANCE BEEF'S IMAGE, WHILE ADVANCING THE DESIRABILITY OF BEEF AND BEEF PRODUCTS. THIS INCLUDES PROMOTION, CONSUMER INFORMATION, INDUSTRY INFORMATION AND RESEARCH. KEY EFFORTS IN 2021: THE OBC DEVELOPED MORE THAN 30 NEW PIECES OF VIDEO CONTENT AND REACHED OK CONSUMERS WITH DIGITAL MARKETING DRIVING 3.4 MILLION VIDEO VIEWS. THE OBC HOSTED A WEBINAR WITH 230 HEALTH AND NUTRITION PROFESSIONALS HIGHLIGHTING THE ROLE BEEF CAN PLAY IN THE DIETS OF INFANTS AND TODDLERS. MORE THAN 700 STUDENTS RECEIVED THEIR MASTERS OF BEEF ADVOCACY (MBA) IN 2021. OK IS THE LEADING STATE IN THE NATION FOR MBA GRADUATES. THROUGH 8 CONSUMER EVENTS, THE OBC PROVIDED BEEF RECIPES, INFORMATION AND SAMPLING IN 2021.
DOMESTIC PROGRAMS INCLUDING HIGH POPULATION/LOW CATTLE - THE OBC INVESTS IN NATIONAL PROGRAMS DESIGNED TO DRIVE AND ENHANCE THE DEMAND FOR BEEF. AS AN EXAMPLE, THE OBC PROVIDED FUNDING SUPPORT FOR A NINE-WEEK DIGITAL MARKETING CAMPAIGN IN KEY POPULATION CENTERS REPRESENTING 136 MILLION CONSUMERS. AS A RESULT, BEEF ADS WERE SEEN ALMOST 22 MILLION TIMES AND BEEF VIDEOS WERE VIEWED 11.8 MILLION TIMES. THE OBC ALSO SUPPORTED THE BEEF. IT'S WHAT'S FOR DINNER 300 DURING SPEEDWEEK AT THE DAYTONA INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY.
THE OBC INVESTS IN INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMS DESIGNED TO DRIVE AND ENHANCE THE DEMAND FOR BEEF. AS AN EXAMPLE, THE OBC SPONSORED FOOD SERVICE AND RETAIL US BEEF PROMOTIONS IN JAPAN AND SOUTH KOREA. ADDITIONALLY, IT FUNDED EDUCATIONAL EFFORTS FOR BEEF IN CHINA AND AFRICA. IN 2021, OBC FUNDED PROMOTIONS HELPED DRIVE 1.45 MILLION POUNDS OF US BEEF SALES.
