THE MISSION IS TO END BREAST CANCER BY ASSISTING PATIENTS, INFORMING HEALTH PROFESSIONALS AND POLICYMAKERS, AND EXPANDING KNOWLEDGE THROUGH EDUCATION AND COMMUNITY OUTREACH.

CONDUCTED THE ANNUAL PATIENT ADVOCATE PROGRAM IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE ANNUAL SAN ANTONIO BREAST CANCER SYMPOSIUM (SABCS), A 5-DAY PROGRAM IN WHICH SCHOLARSHIP ADVOCATES AND PATIENT ADVOCATES MEET WITH PHYSICIANS AND RESEARCHERS FROM OVER 68 COUNTRIES THAT PROVIDES A FORUM FOR INTERACTION, COMMUNICATION, AND EDUCATION FOR RESEARCHERS, HEALTH PROFESSIONALS, AND OTHERS INTERESTED IN BREAST CANCER.

SPONSORED PROGRAMS TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ABOUT THE LATEST CLINICAL TRIALS AND TREATMENTS, EARLY DETECTION AND NUTRITIONAL INFORMATION, PHYCHOSOCIAL AND LEGISLATIVE ISSUES VIA A WEBSITE, 24 HOUR BILINGUAL HELPLINE, SEMINARS, AND HEALTH FAIRS.
