SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM IN MEMORY OF JAMES AND FLORENCE QUINN TO PROVIDE COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS TO SELECTED HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS ON THE BASIS OF ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT. ELEVEN SCHOLARSHIPS WERE AWARDED IN FISCAL YEAR 2021-2022.
GRANTS TO ORGANIZATIONS THAT WORK TO IMPROVE HEALTH, SUPPORT EDUCATION, AND ALLEVIATE POVERTY IN THE REGION. GRANTS AWARDED IN FISCAL YEAR 2021-2022 WERE: $43,000 TO ROTACARE EL PASO, A HEALTH CLINIC THAT PROVIDES FREE PRIMARY HEALTHCARE SERVICES; $17,000 TO TEXAS RAMP PROJECT FOR ACCESSIBILITY RAMPS FOR ELDERLY & DISABLED; $7,882 TO HEADSTART LITERACY PROGRAM.
