VAIL HEALTH PROGRAMS - THE FOUNDATION, THROUGH ITS FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGNS, HAS RAISED FUNDS TO SUPPORT PROGRAMS OF ITS RELATED CORPORATION, VAIL HEALTH HOSPITAL, A 501(C)(3) ORGANIZATION, AND COLORADO MOUNTAIN MEDICAL, A DISREGARDED ENTITY OF VAIL HEALTH HOSPITAL. THE HOSPITAL PROVIDES COMMUNITY BENEFIT TO THE VAIL VALLEY AND SURROUNDING AREAS. FOR THE OPERATING YEAR ENDED OCTOBER 31, 2023 THE FOUNDATION CONTRIBUTED $17M TOWARDS HOSPITAL CAPITAL EQUIPMENT AND $2.5M TOWARD HOSPITAL HEALTH CARE PROGRAMS.

THIS INCLUDES THE FOUNDATION ACTING IN THE CAPACITY OF A FISCAL AGENT TO FACILITATE FUNDRAISING EFFORTS FOR CERTAIN ORGANIZATIONS THAT LACK INTERNAL STAFFING AND SYSTEMS TO RECEIVE AND PROCESS DONATIONS AND EVENT PROCEEDS. THESE PARTNER ORGANIZATIONS INCLUDE STEADMAN PHILIPPON RESEARCH INSTITUTE WHERE THE FOUNDATION MANAGES AN ENDOWMENT OWNED AND DIRECTED TO SPRI, AS WELL AS VARIOUS BEHAVIORAL HEALTH FOCUSED PARTNER ORGANIZATIONS.
