CONQUER THE COAST IS AN ANNUAL CYCLING EVENT HELD IN CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS, EACH SEPTEMBER. THE EVENT FEATURES A 65-MILE RIDE WHICH ENCOMPASSES THE CORPUS CHRISTI BAY INCLUDING A BEAUTIFUL SUNRISE RIDE OVER HARBOR BRIDGE, A ROUTE THROUGH THE COASTAL COMMUNITIES AND FISHING VILLAGES OF PORTLAND, INGLESIDE, ARANSAS PASS, AND PORT ARANSAS, A FERRY RIDE ACROSS THE INTERCOASTAL CANAL, A SCENIC CRUISE DOWN PADRE ISLAND CROSSING OVER THE JFK CAUSEWAY, A TOUR THROUGH NAVAL AIR STATION-CORPUS CHRISTI, AND A BIKE FRIENDLY PATH DOWN OCEAN DRIVE.
THE SMALL BUSINESS REGIONAL PANDEMIC RECOVERY GRANT PROGRAM IS A COLLABORATION BETWEEN UNITED CORPUS CHRISTI CHAMBER FOUNDATION, THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, AND THE PORT OF CORPUS CHRISTI TO JUMPSTART SMALL BUSINESSES AFFECTED BY THE COVID-19 SHUTDOWN. THE PROGRAM SUPPORTS BUSINESSES EXPERIENCING UNEXPECTED HARDSHIPS DUE TO THE GLOBAL PANDEMIC. ELIGIBLE BUSINESSES WILL RECEIVE FUNDS TO ENSURE THEY HAVE UNINTERRUPTED ACCESS TO UTILITIES AND ARE ABLE TO PAY OTHER WORKING CAPITAL EXPENSES DESPITE THE REVENUE LOSS AS A RESULT OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC.
