THE TEXAS CENTER PROVIDES CONTINUING LEGAL EDUCATION COURSES TO JUDGES AND COURT PERSONNEL PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 56 OF THE TEXAS GOVERNMENT CODE AND THE GENERAL APPROPRIATIONS ACT. THE TEXAS CENTER PROVIDES TRAINING TO IMPROVE SAFETY, PERMANENCY, AND WELL-BEING OUTCOMES FOR ABUSED AND NEGLECTED CHILDREN IN THE CHILD WELFARE SYSTEM. THE TEXAS CENTER PROVIDES TRAINING AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO JUDGES AND DWI COURT TEAMS TO IMPROVE ADJUDICATION OF DWI CASES. THE TEXAS CENTER PROVIDES GRANTS THAT IMPROVE THE SAFETY, WELL-BEING, AND PERMANENCY OF CHILDREN IN FOSTER CARE.
