PART OF OUR RECENT PRESERVATION EFFORTS INCLUDE THE NEW ARCHIVE ROOM IN THE BASEMENT OF THE MUSEUM. WE CONTINUE TO RELOCATE AND ORGANIZE THE ARCHIVES, INCLUDING SEVERAL YEARS OF HISTORIC NEWSPAPERS, PHOTOS AND DOCUMENTS, AS WELL AS ARTIFACTS FROM LOCAL FAMILIES THAT TELL THE HISTORY OF THE TOWN AND AREA. IN 2022, THE BOUND VOLUMES OF NEWSPAPERS, PLACED IN ARCHIVAL BOXES, WERE INDEXED AND SHELVED. WE HAVE BEEN SHARING SNIPPETS FROM THE PAPERS ON OUR FACEBOOK PAGE. WE ALSO INSTALLED A SINK ON THE UPPER FLOOR, MAKING CLEANING THE FLOORS MUCH EASIER. WE CONTINUE TO OFFER THE NEW GOLD CAMP ADVENTURE TOURS AS WELL AS THE SUNNYSIDE CEMETERY TOURS, AND ADDED ADDITIONAL DOWNTOWN VICTOR WALKING TOURS.
