UMC PROVIDES HEALTHCARE SERVICES TO LOW MODERATE INCOME FAMILIES WHO ARE RESIDENTS OF THREE TEXAS COUNTIES IN OR APPROXIMATE TO THE TEXAS-MEXICO BORDER. SERVICES ARE PROVIDED AT LOW COST AND ARE BASED ON ABILITY TO PAY BASIS. UMC OUTPATIENT ENCOUNTERS WERE 117,675. SERVICES PROVIDED TO OUR PATIENTS INCLUDE FAMILY MEDICINE, FAMILY PLANNING, INTERNAL MEDICINE, PEDIATRICS, PODIATRY, RADIOLOGY, AND WOMEN'S HEALTH.


UMC OPERATES FULL-SERVICE DENTAL CLINICS IN EAGLE PASS AND DEL RIO. THE CLINIC IS EQUIPPED WITH BOTH CONVENTIONAL AND PANOGRAPHIC X-RAY UNITS. OUR DENTAL CLINIC OFFERS CRUCIAL PREVENTIVE CARE FOR ADULTS AND CHILDREN, HELPING TO PREVENT ORAL HEALTH EMERGENCIES AMD THUS MINIMIZE THE NEED FOR EMERGENCY ROOM VISITS AND EXPENSIVE RESTORATIVE CARE AMONG OUR PATIENTS.


UMC IS PROUD TO HAVE AN ACTIVE PHARMACY AND OUTREACH PROGRAM, WITH STAFF OF PHARMICISTS AND PHARMACY TECHS WORKING HARD TO BRING EFFECTIVE AND AFFORDABLE MEDICATIONS TO OUR PATIENTS. SERVICES PROVIDED BY OUR PHARMACY INCLUDE PHARMACEUTICAL COUSELING, DRUG INFORMATION/EDUCATION, AND A WIDE SELECTION OF PHARMACEUTICALS AT COMPARATIVE PRICES.
