BAYOU CITY ART FESTIVAL MEMORIAL PARK IS HELD EACH YEAR IN LATE MARCH IN HOUSTON'S MEMORIAL PARK. THE FESTIVAL IS BUILT ON TWO INNER LOOPS. THE PARK IS FIVE MILES FROM DOWNTOWN AND TWO MILES FROM THE GALLERIA AREA. THE FESTIVAL IS THE ONLY PUBLIC EVENT HELD IN THE PARK OTHER THAN HOUSTON RODEO ACCESS. SHUTTLE RIDES MAKE TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM THE FESTIVAL EASY AND CONVENIENT.
BAYOU CITY ART FESTIVAL DOWNTOWN IS HELD EACH YEAR DURING THE SECOND WEEKEND OF OCTOBER. THE DOWNTOWN SKYLINE SERVES AS A BACKGROUND FOR ART, MUSIC, INTERACTIVE ACTIVITIES AND A CREATIVE ZONE FOR CHILDREN. THE FESTIVAL IS SHOWCASED ON ALLEN PARKWAY & SAM HOUSTON PARK.
