WE VIEW OUR VISITOR'S CENTER AS THE FIRST IMPRESSION MANY VISITORS HAVE OF LLANO. WE CONTINUED TO STRIVED TO BE ONE OF THE BEST IN TEXAS. EMPLOYEES ARE TERRIFIC REPRESENTATIVES TO CONVEY THEIR ENTHUSIASM ABOUT LLANO IN PERSON AND ON THE PHONE. THESE EMPLOYEES GIVE INFORMATION TO ENCOURAGE LONGER STAYS, ACTIVELY PROMOTE LOCAL DINING, LODGING, AND SHOPPING OPPORTUNITIES FOR VISITORS, AND SELL TICKETS TO ALL LOCAL EVENTS TO SUPPORT TOURIST AND COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN LOCAL EVENTS.
THE LLANO CHAMBER OF COMMERCE CONTINUES TO FOCUS OUR ATTENTION ON BRINGING VISITORS TO OUR TOWN TO DISCOVER THE PEACE AND SERENITY LLANO HAS TO OFFER ON A DAILY BASIS. WE HAVE QUAINT SHOPS, WONDERFUL RESTAURANTS, AND AN INCREASING NUMBER OF LIVE MUSIC VENUES IN TOWN. THE MISSION OF THE CHAMBER IS TO ENGAGE IN PROJECTS AND ACTIVITIES THAT HAVE A POSITIVE ECONOMIC IMPACT ON THE COMMUNITY AND/OR SERVE THE MEMBERS OF THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE.
OUR WEB SITE WENT LIVE IN APRIL 2011. IT HELPS US STREAMLINE OPERATIONS OF THE VISITOR CENTER AND HAS INCREASED THE ADVERTISING OPPORTUNITIES OF OUR BUSINESS MEMBERS. GOOGLE ANALYTICS HELPS US TRACK THE NUMBER OF VISITS ON OUR WEB SITE AS WELL AS ENGAGEMENT OF ACTIVITY ON OUR SITE. WE ARE ABLE TO DETERMINE DEMOGRAPHICS OF OUR WEBISTE VISITORS WHICH ASSIST US IN TARGETING LOCATIONS TO FOCUS OUR PRINT ADVERTISING.
