THE UNITED STATES JUNIOR CHAMBER OF COMMERCE SUCCESSFULLY PROVIDED LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT THROUGH COMMUNITY SERVICE IN THE FOLLOWING WAYS:BY PROVIDING LEADERSHIP TRAINING TO STATES' CHAPTER OFFICERS AND LOCAL MEMBERS THROUGH NORTH AMERICAN ACADEMY. TEN OUTSTANDING YOUNG AMERICANS AWARDS (TOYA) HAS TRADITIONALLY BEEN ATTENDED BY 300 TO 500 INDIVIDUALS. THESE AWARDS ARE FOR LEADERSHIP CONTRIBUTIONS IN A VARIETY OF AREAS. NOTABLY, MANY PAST AWARD WINNERS HAVE GONE ON TO GREATER ACCOMPLISHMENTS IN CIVIC INVOLVEMENT. TEN INDIVIDUALS ARE HONORED EACH YEAR. MORE THAN 570 HAVE BEEN HONORED DURING THE AWARD'S HISTORY. NATIONAL CONVENTIONS ARE ATTENDED BY THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE AND THE STATE PRESIDENTS REPRESENTING ALL STATE ORGANIZATIONS. IN ADDITION, EXECUTIVE TRAINING AND STATE PRESIDENT TRAINING IS PROVIDED. THE DIGITAL MAGAZINE IS AN AVENUE FOR RECOGNIZING MEMBERS' ACHIEVEMENTS, APPLAUDING CHAPTER SUCCESSES, PROMOTING NATIONAL PROGRAMS, AND ENCOURAGING VOLUNTEERS TO KEEP WORKING HARD FOR THE GOOD OF THEIR COMMUNITIES.
