VETERANS DAY CELEBRATION (VDC) AND PUBLIC POLICY DAY (PPD). VDC IS A VETERANS RALLY DAY FOR OPPORTUNITY TO PROVIDE BENEFIT COUNSELING, JOB FAIR, CAREER AND CONTINUING EDUCATION COUNSELING TO MORE THAN 300 VETERAN WOMEN. PPD IS A DAY WHEN WOMEN VETERANS GATHER IN WASHINGTON DC TO MEET THEIR CONGRESSIONAL REPRESENTATIVE TO DISCUSS ISSUES AND POLICIES THAT AFFECT VETERANS AND WOMEN VETERANS IN PARTICULAR.
WOMEN VETERANS ROCK CIVIC LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE (WVRCLI) NORMALLY AN IN PERSON 4 WEEKEND OF INTENSE TRAINING AND PREPARATION FOR WOMEN TO ASSUME CIVIC LEADERSHIP IN THE AREAS OF PUBLIC POLICY, NON- PROFIT AND FOR PROFIT BOARD MEMBERSHIP.
