THE MULTICULTURAL CENTER OF THE SOUTH IS AN EDUCATION, INFORMATION AND TOURIST CENTER DEDICATED TO THE ENHANCXEMENT, UNDERSTANDING, AND APPRECIATION OF THE HISTORY AND DIVERSE CULTURES OF NORTHWEST AND OTHER PARTS OF LOUISIANA. THE CENTER'S GOAL IS TO PROVIDE A RESOURCE BY WHICH THE AREA YOUTH CAN BECOME BETTER AND MORE SUCCESSFUL CITIZENS OF THE TWENTY-FIRST CENTURY THROUGH ENHANCED KNOWLEDGE OF THE PEOPLES OF THE WORLD WITH WHOM THEY LIVE AND WORK.
