PROVIDING HELP AND HEALING TO SURVIVORS OF SEXUAL TRAUMA AND VIOLENT CRIME, PROVIDING HELP TO LESSEN THE TRAUMA EXPERIENCED BY CHILD VICTIMS WHEN ABUSE ALLEGATIONS ARE INVESTIGATED AND THROUGHOUT COURT PROCEEDINGS CONDUCTING AND DOCUMENTING SKILLFUL FORENSIC EVIDENCE COLLECTION WITH COMPASSIONATE CARE WHEN A PATIENT MAKES A DISCLOSURE OF SEXUAL ASSAULT.

CHILDREN'S ADVOCACY CENTER IS WHERE THE FORENSIC INTERVIEWS OF ALLEGED SEXUAL ABUSE ARE CONDUCTED AS A COOPERATIVE EFFORT BETWEEN THE 15TH & 16TH JUDICIAL DISTRICT COURTS. THIS NEUTRAL LOCATION PROVIDES THE NECESSARY SAFE-HAVEN FOR CHILDREN TO HEAL AND BEGIN THEIR PATH OF RECOVERY. OUR CENTER BRINGS TOGETHER CHILD PROTECTIVE SERVICE INVESTIGATORS, LAW ENFORCEMENT, PROSECUTORS, AND MEDICAL & MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONALS TO PROVIDE A COORDINATED, COMPREHENSIVE RESPONSE TO VICTIMS AND THEIR CAREGIVERS.
THE SEXUAL ABUSE RESPONSE CENTER PROVIDES EDUCATION, COUNCELING AND ADVOCACY SERVICES TO SURVIVORS OF ALL KINDS OF SEXUAL VIOLENCE, INCLUDING SEXUAL ASSAULT, SEXUAL HARASSMENT, STALKING, SEXUAL EXPLOITATION, INTIMATE PARTNER SEXUAL VIOLENCE, PRISONER RAPE, AND MILITARY SEXUAL TRAUMA.
THE SEXUAL ASSAULT NURSE EXAMINERS OFFER COMPREHENSIVE CARE TO THE SURVIVORS OF SEXUAL ASSAULT IN THE EMERGENCY ROOM. THESE HIGHLY SKILLED NURSES EDUCATE SURVIVORS ON THEIR RIGHTS AND BENEFITS OF RECEIVING AN EXAM AND TREATMENT.
