THE PROGRAM OFFERS CREATIVE, PHYSICAL, AND INTELLECTUAL ACTIVITIES WHICH CONTRIBUTE TO RENEWED SELF-ESTEEM AND SENSE OF WELL BEING FOR SENIOR CITIZENS IN THE GREATER NEW ORLEANS AREA. THE PROGRAM IS FOR PEOPLE TO SHARE KNOWLEDGE, CRAFTS, AND ARTS. THE PROGRAM OFFERS ABOUT 100 WEEKDAY CLASSES IN FALL, SPRING AND SUMMER SESSIONS AT TWO CAMPUSES ON THE EASTBANK AND WESTBANK OF THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER AND ONLINE. ALL TEACHERS AND INSTRUCTORS AT THE PROGRAM ARE VOLUNTEERS WHO ARE INTERESTED IN SHARING THEIR KNOWLEDGE IN A RELAXED ATMOSPHERE WHERE COMMUNITY BUILDING IS ESSENTIAL.
