STATE FESTIVALS: EVALUATION COMPETITION OF CHORAL AND BAND PROGRAMS FOR THOSE SCHOOLS WHO RECEIVE "SUPERIOR" RATINGS BY JUDGES AT THE DISTRICT LEVEL OF COMPETITION.
ALL STATE: STUDENTS FROM LOUISIANA PARTICIPATE IN MUSICAL EVENTS HELD IN BATON ROUGEE, LOUISIANA. APPROXIMATELY 400 STUDENTS PARTICIPATE. EXPENSES INCLUDE MEALS AND LODGING FOR THE PARTICIPATES, CHAPERONS AND JUDGES. AT THE SAME TIME A STATE WIDE CONFERENCE IS HELD FOR ALL LMEA MEMBERS.
CONVENTIONS,CONFERENCES,MEETINGS: MEETINGS HELD APPROXIMATELY FOUR TIMES DURING THE YEAR INCLUDING CONFERENCES AND CONVENTIONS.
