IN 2021, CRESCENT CITY SCHOOLS SERVED MORE THAN 2,300 STUDENTS IN THREE SCHOOLS ACROSS NEW ORLEANS: HARRIET TUBMAN CHARTER SCHOOL, AKILI ACADEMY, AND PAUL HABANS CHARTER SCHOOL. AS THE RESULT OF A TWO-YEAR EXPANSION TO ABSORB STUDENTS FROM NEARBY FAILING SCHOOLS, HARRIET TUBMAN CHARTER SCHOOL EXPANDED TO TWO CAMPUSES. THE LOWER CAMPUS, KNOWN AS TUBMAN MONTESSORI, SERVES STUDENTS IN GRADES PREK-2, AND IS KNOWN FOR ITS SIGNATURE MONTESSORI HYBRID PROGRAM. THE UPPER SCHOOL SERVES STUDENTS IN GRADES 3-8 AND IS HOUSED IN THE HISTORIC ADOLPH MEYER BUILDING IN ALGIERS. CCS IS ALSO PROUD TO OPERATE THE AURORA PROGRAM, A HIGHLY INDIVIDUALIZED PROGRAM DESIGNED TO MEET THE UNIQUE NEEDS OF CHILDREN WITH DOCUMENTED EMOTIONAL AND BEHAVIORAL CONCERNS THAT ARE SIGNIFICANTLY IMPACTING THE CHILD'S ABILITY TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THEIR REGULAR SCHOOL SETTING. EACH OF THE SCHOOLS IN THE NETWORK RECEIVED A GRADE OF A FOR THE "INTERESTS AND OPPORTUNITIES" MEASURE, AS MEASURED BY THE LOUISIANA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION. ALL SCHOOLS IN THE CCS NETWORK ALSO EARNED A GRADE OF A FOR THE LDOE'S DROPOUT CREDIT ACCUMULATION INDEX, WHICH MEASURES HOW WELL-PREPARED FORMER CCS STUDENTS WERE FOR HIGH SCHOOL.
