THE 2ND CHANCE WILDLIFE CARE CENTER FACILITY ADMITTED 733 WILD ANIMALS FOR REHABILITATION IN 2016. OF THAT AMOUNT 215 WERE RELEASED BACK INTO THE WILD, 28 WERE TRANSFERED TO OTHER WILDLIFE FACILITIES. THE BALANCE DIED DURING THE REHAB PROCESS OR ARE HOLDOVERS FOR FURTHER REHABILITATION OR FOR USE IN EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS. THIS EQUATES TO A SUCCESS RATE OF APPROX. 33%. DURING 2016, 14 EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS WERE CONDUCTED FOR VARIOUS ORGANIZATIONS AND SCHOOLS.
