MISSION:

THE SNOHOMISH AFFORDABLE HOUSING GROUP WAS ORGANIZED IN NOVEMBER 1991 FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEVELOPING, CONSTRUCTING, MAINTAINING AND MANAGING AFFORDABLE HOUSING IN AND AROUND THE CITY OF SNOHOMISH. THE ORGANIZATION'S OBJECTIVE IS TO BRING TOGETHER THE SKILLS AND COMPASSION THAT EXISTS IN SNOHOMISH IN A LOCAL COMMUNITY EFFORT TO PRODUCE MODEST HOUSING FOR THEIR LESS FORTUNATE NEIGHBORS WITHOUT GOVERNMENT FUNDING.

The goal of this organization is to provide a broad range of social services for individuals or families.

The goal of this organization are the nongovernmental, nonprofit organizations with funds (usually from a single source, such as an individual, family or corporation) and programs managed by its own trustees or directors, established to maintain or aid social, educational, religious or other charitable activities serving the common welfare, primarily through grantmaking.

TO SEARCH, RESCUE, AND/OR RECOVER THOSE WHO BECOME LOST, MISSING, INJURED, OR KILLED WHILE OUTDOORS AND TO EDUCATE PEOPLE ON OUTDOOR SAFETY AND WILDERNESS RECREATION.

THE SNOHOMISH EDUCATION FOUNDATION FOSTERS LEARNING BY EXPANDING OPPORTUNITIES FOR SNOHOMISH SCHOOL DISTRICT STUDENTS.

The goal of this organization is to work to relieve poverty in developing countries by providing funds, technical assistance and supplies which improve the health, education, welfare, social well-being and self-reliance of individuals and families. Also included are organizations that provide relief services in response to a major disaster or large-scale emergency that occurs abroad.

HUSAYNIAH SOCIETY IS DETERMINED TO GO BEYOND RITUALS TO STRATEGIC IMPLEMENTATION OF IMAM HUSAYN'S MESSAGE IN THE WESTERN SOCIETY, AS BEARING THE TRUE MESSAGE OF ISLAM. WE PLAN TO BUILD AN INTERFAITH COMMUNITY WHERE PEOPLE COME TOGETHER TO SHARE AND DISCUSS IDEAS AND WORK ON THE THINGS THEY ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT. RECOGNISING WE BELONG TO ONE HUMAN RACE MEANS WE HAVE A RESPONSIBILITY TO ACT AS A COMMUNITY TO AFFIRMATIVELY ADDRESS ISSUES OF SOCIAL JUSTICE.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization are the private foundations that make grants based on charitable endowments. Because of their endowments, they are focused primarily on grantmaking and generally do not actively raise funds or seek public financial support. These are the most common type of private foundation. They are generally endowed, usually from a single individual or family. Private foundations are considered family foundations if relatives or the original donor are still active on the board of trustees or in the operation of the foundation.

THE ORGANIZATION'S PRIMARY EXEMPT PURPOSE IS TO PROVIDE MEMBER DRIVEN SERVICES, ACTIVITIES AND TO PROMOTE AND ENHANCE THE PHYSICAL, EMOTIONAL AND SOCIAL WELL BEING OF OLDER ADULTS IN THE GREATER CITY OF SNOHOMISH AREA BY OFFERING ACTIVITIES AND SERVICES FOR THE EDUCATION, INFORMATION AND FELLOWSHIP OF ITS MEMBERS.

WE ARE GROWING KIDS CULTIVATING COMMUNITY AND NURTURING HABITAT FOR ALL LIVING BEINGS THROUGH REAL FOOD. SPROUTING SIMPLE CHANGE.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to provide opportunities for people of all ages to learn, become competitive in and enjoy the organized recreational activity, sport or game of their choice. These programs may be offered by local clubs devoted to a particular activity or sport; may provide individual or team coaching assistance or instruction, access to equipment and facilities, and uniforms, if necessary; and may sponsor or make arrangements for athletes to participate in amateur competitions, usually at the local or regional level, and provide officials for games. These events are generally for the enjoyment of the athletes and are not at a high enough competitive level to be considered spectator sports.
