OVER $227,000 WAS GIVEN TO NEARLY 200 GRADUATING SENIORS FROM ACROSS THE DISTRICT TO HELP FULFILL THEIR DREAMS OF HIGHER EDUCATION.

AWARDS FOR GRANTS TO TEACHERS AND PROGRAMS IN THE SNOHOMISH SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR SPECIAL PROJECTS IN THE CLASSROOM TO ENHANCE THE LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES OF STUDENTS.


THE SNOHOMISH EDUCATION FOUNDATION GAVE $66,000 TO THE SNOHOMISH SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR DISTRICT-WIDE SUMMER PROGRAMS, LIKE THE SUMMER ACADEMY SCHOOL FOR ELEMENTARY STUDENTS, THE CREDIT RECOVERY PROGRAM FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS, AND TO HELP KEEP THE LIBRARIES OPEN THROUGHOUT THE SUMMER. NEARLY 300 ELEMENTARY STUDENTS AND OVER 250 HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS EXPERIENCED DIFFERENT LEARNING PROGRAMS TO HELP BUILD THEIR CONFIDENCE INTO THE NEXT SCHOOL YEAR. NEARLY 200 STUDENTS VISITED LIBRARIES EACH WEEK CHECKING OUT OVER 5,000 BOOKS DURING THE SUMMER MONTHS.
