THE COMMUNITY CENTER FOR EDUCATION RESULTS PROVIDES STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP, STAFFING AND SUPPORT TO THE ROAD MAP PROJECT TO MEET THE REGION'S GOALS. THE ROAD MAP PROJECT GOALS ARE:WE WILL INCREASE EQUITABLE POLICIES AND PRACTICES IN OUR EDUCATION SYSTEMS AND DRAMATICALLY IMPROVE OUTCOMES FOR CHILDREN AND YOUTH, FROM CRADLE THROUGH COLLEGE AND CAREER; SO THAT:BY 2030, WE WILL ELIMINATE THE OPPORTUNITY AND ACHIEVEMENT GAPS IMPACTING CHILDREN OF COLOR AND LOW-INCOME CHILDREN IN SOUTH KING COUNTY AND SOUTH SEATTLE, AND 70% OF YOUTH IN THE REGION WILL EARN A COLLEGE DEGREE OR CAREER CREDENTIAL.

AS THE "BACKBONE ORGANIZATION STAFFING AND SUPPORTING THE ROAD MAP PROJECT, CCER HAS BUILT A NUMBER OF CAPACITIES THAT SUPPORT THE ACCOMPLISHMENT OF REGIONAL PRIORITIES AND SUPPORT THE WORK OF ALIGNED PARTNERS AND LOCAL PROGRAMMATIC AND SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT EFFORTS. THE CCER DATA TEAM MAINTAINS AN EDUCATION DATA WAREHOUSE, PRODUCES ANALYTIC DASHBOARDS AND CONDUCTS PREDICTIVE ANALYTICS AND QUALITATIVE RESEARCH. THE TEAM PRODUCES REPORTS, ONLINE DASHBOARDS, COMMUNITY DATA TOOLS, AND CONDUCTS ANALYSIS AND RESEARCH TO SUPPORT ROAD MAP PROJECT PARTNER STRATEGIES TO IMPROVE OUTCOMES FOR CHILDREN FROM CRADLE TO COLLEGE AND CAREER. WE ARE IMPROVING ACCESS TO DATA AND SUPPORTING DATA USE. WE ARE ALSO PARTNERING WITH COMMUNITY MEMBERS AND ORGANIZATIONS USING A COMMUNITY COLLABORATIVE RESEARCH APPROACH.CCER HELPS TO ENSURE THERE IS CONSISTENT COMMUNICATIONS TO SUPPORT THE COLLECTIVE WORK. THE CCER COMMUNICATIONS TEAM USES THE ROAD MAP PROJECT WEBSITE, SEVERAL SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNTS, EMAIL NEWSLETTERS AND OTHER TOOLS IN THE COMMUNICATION WORK. THE FOCUS OF COMMUNICATIONS IS BOTH INTERNAL TO THE ROAD MAP PROJECT, WHICH INCLUDES HUNDREDS OF PARTNERS, AND EXTERNAL TO THE BROADER PUBLIC. THE CCER TEAM WORKS WITH THE ROAD MAP COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP TEAM AND MANY REGIONAL PARTNERS TO SUPPORT STRONG ACCOUNTABILITY FOR RESULTS. IN ORDER TO DEVELOP AND IMPLEMENT REGIONAL SYSTEM-CHANGING STRATEGIES CCER OFTEN PLAYS A CONVENER AND FACILITATOR ROLE. CCER ALSO DESIGNES AND SUPPORTS LOCAL PRACTICE IMPROVEMENT EFFORTS TO IMPROVE OUTCOMES AND CLOSE GAPS FOR STUDENTS OF COLOR ACROSS THE EDUCATION CONTINUUM.
